We aim to provide a forum for clinicians who are involved in the care of people with diabetes to exchange information, promote better management and stimulate research. Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to inform you that I have written a small book on prevention
and control of type 2 diabetes epidemic entitled "Primary Prevention and
Control of Type 2 Diabetes and Other Non-Communicable Diseases by Healthy Lifestyle Program".
The book analyzes type 2 diabetes pandemic, its relation with other NCDs and
risk factors and high-risk approach versus population-based approach. It
formulates the comprehensive Healthy Lifestyle Program for the primary
prevention and control of type 2 diabetes and other NCDs with the ten
components of Healthy Lifestyle Program and the required practical
approaches for them.
