The
members congratulated Dr Abdulla Hamaq
on the launch of DASG website on Wednesday
March 26, 2008 during the press conference.
The press was present in large numbers
and the event was given very good coverage
by the local newspapers. |

It was decided that as per item 1.1
of the DASG constitution, only those
persons who have become members of DASG
by 15th April 2008, will be entitled
to cast vote at the DASG elections on
18 October 2008. |

The
next DASG conference will be held in
Qatar in 2010. Dr Abdulla Hamaq will
be the Chairman of the local organising
committee. |
| 5. |
Subject
to the availability of funds, the cheapest
discounted economy airfare of the Steering
Committee members attending the Nepal
DASG Conference will be sponsored by
DASG. If the members are able to arrange
sponsorship from their own resources
they will obviously not claim the airfare
from DASG. |

Dr
Abdulla Hamaq informed the members that
the committed donations for the year
2008 have not been received from the
Pharma companies. Dr Arun Baksi was
requested to send a reminder to the
donors. |
The
meeting ended with thanks to Abdulla
for the excellent hospitality extended
to the members. |
